Q: What's in it for you?
A: We're not in it for the money, we're doing this because we are entrepreneurial people and want to encourage ideas within the bristol community. We're university owned company, we don't get paid to do this, but we do get the option to buy the university's stake of any business we invest in after a certain period of time at the present equity value.
Q: If I tell you my million-dollar idea, are you going to steal it and run away somewhere very far with my millions?
A: Definetly not! We are all legally bound not to replicate any ideas we encounter through BUBA or otherwise. You can talk to us in complete confidentiality if you'd like so you can feel confident your ideas are safe! Plus we encourage sharing and discussion of ideas, as new ideas and feedback from others can be very invaluable!
